Dig or Die Team Drill with Chad Callihan – Univ. of Wyoming. Watch as Coach explains, and players demonstrate this 6v6 free ball drill that is great for cardio. Everyone gets the opportunity to receive and if there is no touch on the block or dig, your score goes back to zero. Coach uses this drill after a game that was lacking defensive pursuit or to promote energy at practice.

Dig or Die. 5 on 5 with setter at the net, 3 back row players on left side hitter, and "extra player" stand outside of the court in right back. Drill begins with a ball thrown in to one side, team plays the ball by passing to the setter who sets the outside and the left side hitter swings. If the team receiving the attack digs the ball to their setter, the setter yells out the number of points her team has and they continue to play.
